Rock Climbing and Abseiling

Pra Phutthabat Noi Limestone Mountain : Ban Tung Sang Amphoe Kaeng Khoi

If your spirits need a lift and your senses need some stimulation come to Pra Phutthabat Noi and defy gravity. Saraburi now offers a rock climbing site at the 5 to 6A difficulty level.
The mountain is not too high so inexperienced climbers are catered for and there are capable assistants to ensure your complete safety.
Once you overcome the challenge to reach the top, reward yourself with the clean fresh air and the magnificent vista of fields as far as the eye can see.

The green volcanic plains below will gradually change to a bright golden color when fields of sunflowers bloom between October and February.
After your victory over the dizzying heights, try to catch a glimpse of the Limestone Wren Babbler bird at Wat Tham Phra That Charoen Tham or Wat Phra Phutthabat Noi nearby. The Limestone Wren Babbler is so rare that this is the only place in the world you will find it, but go quietly, these rare birds are easily startled. The mountain is also the habitat of a newly discovered species; the Tham Mong Nathi Kradan insect. This bright pink insect is another rare species that prospers in this area.
